Boulder Disc Club brings you the Boulder Disc Putter League!

That is right! Everyone clean off their favorite putter as Boulder Disc Club brings you the Boulder Disc Putter League!

Putter Leagues mission is to improve everyone’s game by reinforcing their putter skills.  Putter league will meet at a different course each weekday at 6:30pm. The rules are as follows: (* = possible rule/statistic still under consideration)

* Putter League Open

1. You may use any combination of disc’s as long as they are
considered a Putt and Approach disc.  (See list of allowed discs)
2. All holes over 600 ft will be deemed a par 4 all other shorter
holes are par 3′s (See list of local club holes that are par 4)
All holes over 700 ft will be deemed a par 5 (See list of local
club holes that are par 5)

Rule Changes*:

1. No jump putts inside 60′,  rationale for this is you are trying to learn how to use your putter and make your game better. Sometimes you are at that distance and you can’t jump without risking injury.

2. Have Fun

* Putter League Classic (10% added to rating)

1. You may use only two disc’s as long as it is considered a Putt and
Approach disc.  (See list of allowed discs – We recommend one stable, and one under-stable putter)
2. If you lose your disc you are done for the current
day/round/tournament.  The following day you may replace your lost
putter with the same class of putter to continue (i.e. replace a
champion aviar with any other type of aviar, star aviar, r-pro
aviar, etc..)
3. All holes are par 3′s.

Another Twist with putter league is our advanced rating based on collected non traditional statistics: (* = possible rule/statistic still under consideration)

1. *Assits:  If your opponents misses his shot inside 50′ you can
shoot from his lie and if you make the shot you are credited one
assist.  You are allowed two missed assists per nine holes.  Once
you make two assists in a row you are considered “on fire” and
have the option to use your opponents score for that hole as yours.

2. *Blocks:  You are allowed one block attempt per nine holes.  You
must place your self five feet on a perpendicular plane with your
opponents lie in relation to the basket.  Once  your opponent
throw is released from his hand you can throw towards the basket
with the intent to intercept your opponents disc while in route to
the basket.  All successful blocks allow another mulligan.

3. *Mulligan:  You have one mulligan per nine holes of play.      Mulligans may only be used on the Tee pad.  Other plays may try to
entice a psych-out by talking, screaming, crying, anything to
distract the user as long as they are not in contact with the tee
pad and standing to either side or behind.  No objects may be
thrown to distract.  No use of yelling fore, or incoming for
obvious safety concerns.

4. *Gambles(optional in tournament play):  You can gamble birdies you
have accumulated on shots greater than 35″ in order to catch the
leading opponent.

5. Closest to Pin

6. Greens Hit % on holes less than 250″

7. Fairway Hit %

15. Saves:  Par shots made > 30″

16. Pro Shots: Shots made > 50″

basket and does not go in.

not count as going in.
